At Camp Xplode, we want to make life easier for parents and give you the confidence that your children are happy, healthy and safe in our care. If you do not find the answer to your questions in our FAQs, or in our Parent Guide, please do feel free to contact us directly.
Q. WHAT TIME CAN I DROP OFF AND PICK UP MY CHILD?
A. If you have booked a standrad day you can drop of your child at 9am and collect them at 4pm. If you have booked an extended morning you can drop them off between 8am and 9am. If you have booked an extended afternoon, you can collect them between 4pm and 6pm.
Q. ARE YOUR CAMP STAFF DBS CHECKED? (PREVIOUSLY CRB CHECKED)
A. Yes, every member of the Camp Xplode staff must have an up to date Disclosure Barring System (DBS) check.
Q. HAVE YOU BEEN INSPECTED & APPROVED BY OFSTED?
A. Yes, we are registered with Ofsted and we work closely with Ofsted to ensure our camps follow best practice and all staff undertake our strict interview, reference, clearance and training process that covers essentials such as supervision, child protection and First Aid.
Q. WHAT EXTRA PROVISIONS ARE IN PLACE FOR 3-4 YEAR OLDS?
A. Our fantastic BEARS Camp offers a unique and carefully paced programme to ensure our 3 and 4 year olds receive the best care and nurturing and the very best first time camp experience. Each staff member is chosen for their genuine commitment and desire to work with young children and each Playtime Camp is managed by an experienced Nursery Leader with Level 3 CACHE/NNEB qualifications.
NB. Children must be dry and out of nappies to join our Explorer Camp.
